On February 20, Newsen reported that a representative had stated to them that the producers are currently discussing with the cast members in order to extend two more episodes for 'Unpretty Rapstar.'

They said, "We have to take the cast's schedules into consideration so we are in the process of coming to an agreement. It is true that we are thinking of extending the show due to the response that it has been receiving, but we would have to see until after the Lunar New Year break to officially know." 

Meanwhile, 'Unpretty Rapstar' has aired three out of the six episodes that had been planned and has been receiving an explosive response from the viewers. As the first program to feature the female rappers of Korea, 'Unpretty Rapstar' gained many followers for their unique and the fierce competition between the head strong unnies.
