The incident occurred back on January 16 around 9PM KST, when 'C' threw a wine bottle in the direction of a parking lot near his apartment. The bottle struck a parked Mercedes Benz. Although there were people nearby where the bottle fell, luckily, no one was harmed.
The police were able to confirm that the bottle belonged to 'C' after testing the fingerprints found on the broken bottle fragments. The same brand of wine bottles could be found in 'C's apartment. 'C' is also suspected of throwing whiskey bottles and damaging parked cars back in June 2014 as well.
Although 'C' has denied the charges, police have reported, "Considering the clear evidence, we are certain that ['C'] is the culprit. We conducted a basic investigation and then handed him over to the military police."
Netizens were unsatisfied with 'C's punishment as top comments stated, "Have him transfer to Afghanistan," "What's the point of booking him? [The police] can't even touch a hair on his head and then they give him over to the U.S. military," and, "There are a lot of problems with these U.S. force punks."
