B1A4's Baro discussed playing Young Gyu, a teenager with the mentality of a six year old, in his last drama 'God's Gift - 14 Days' during an interview with Newsen.
He said, "I wanted the role for Young Gyu as soon as I saw the script. I kept telling the director I wanted to do it no matter what. To be honest, I think the director was worried, seeing as how he asked me, 'You're an idol, so would that be okay?' However, I really liked Young Gyu . . ."

Baro had actually received the offer to play the role of Byung Tae in the drama, the male assistant to Ki Dong Chan. He said, "Originally, I was playing Byung Tae. However, no matter how much I read the script, I did not think Byung Tae was right for me. It was hard for me to take him in. I read and reread the script and tried to change my personality to Byung Tae's, but it did not match me. I felt uncomfortable doing it. I think it was hard for me to express Byung Tae's thoughts. On the other hand, Young Gyu and I were similar in age and I felt like we had similar personalities, like the naive aspect. If I think about it now, I think it was really good I got to play Young Gyu. I think Byung Tae turned out more charismatic because Yeon Jae Wook played him, too."
He continued, saying how some people were impressed with his work while other maligned him. He also said he was not dissatisfied with the little amount of screen time he got for the drama, as the production overall was more important than just his one role.
Do you think he did a good job in 'God's Gift - 14 Days'?
