On the first episode of Kim Jaejoong's YouTube series 'Jaefriends' season 4, the singer-actor spent a fun 40-minute talk with INFINITE.
INFINITE's leader, Sunggyu, told Jaejoong how it must have been lonely and difficult doing various activities, being the CEO of INKODE. Sunggyu then got realistic and said, "What I'm curious about is that I'm only managing INFINITE. But you, INKODE has a lot of artists. You're training new artists too. It actually costs... a lot of money. It costs way more than when we first debuted."
Jaejoong responded, "Compared to now, we were nothing." Sunggyu continued, "You need a lot of funds to manage the company and stuff, so I was curious about how you were replenishing it."

"Since I founded the company, I've run it entirely with my own money," said Jaejoong. "So people ask why I started a company with my own company that carries a huge risk. But I'm very satisfied right now. I'm being very honest. It's not because I have a lot of money," he laughingly said.
He added, "I honestly don't have earthly desires anymore. I've faced my limit. I eat the same food everyday." Sunggyu then replied, "If you you've hit the limit, doesn't it mean that you've earned more than enough?"
When the members brought up the rumors about Jaejoong being a trillionaire, he responded, "I don't think I'll get happier for earning more money, regarding personal values. But regarding the company's values, you can do more and provide a better environment with more money, which is good."
