A source is said to have mentioned, "The current members will leave the show and new members will be brought in... Because the children are getting older, their leave was something that everyone already expected to come. But the date of their leave has not been decided as of yet... It will probably be run as a graduation system. To keep the unity, not just one specific member will leave but all of the children and fathers will leave the show... We are currently discussing the right time [for their leave]. The staff are currently looking for new cast members."

However reps from MBC as well as the program's staff have denied the claims, commenting, "This is something that we have never discussed. Even the staff over in New Zealand who are filming for the 'Dad Where Are You Going?' New Zealand special are in shock that such rumors have come about."

Hopefully the rumors aren't true like the staff claim since viewers seem to be falling more and more in love with the adorable Hoo, Minguk, Jia, Joon, and Junsu and the growing bond they share with their fathers.
