B2ST's Dongwoon also honored the day on his Twitter, sharing, "Today is Gwangbokjeol. Wherever I go, I carry the pride of being Korean, and I keep the Taegeukgi [Korean national flag] inside my heart." Doojoon also shared his tweet.

Singer Kim Jang Hoon shared on his me2day, "Although education on the history of any nation is important, our nation especially has a tense history concerning Dokdo and comfort women as well as territorial issues, so it is even more important.
