Dream Tea Entertainment revealed, "Girl's Day will release their first full-length album 'Expectation' two years and eight months after their debut. This album concept will show a sexy style through a black-and-red theme."

Girl's Day expressed, "We feel really moved to finally release our full-length album. Since we really worked hard to make this album, we want to achieve #1 at least once and level up our popularity."
