Actor Song Seung Hun has decided to take on a movie of a historical genre titled 'Messenger' as his next project.

The role he will be playing is a messenger called 'Moo Jin', who has the fate of the nation in his hands as he tries to relay a message of the utmost importance during the Goryeo Dynasty.

Through a press release, the actor's agency revealed, "The story line as well as the suspenseful action scenes were enough to get him to finish reading the entire scenario in one sitting, and he was left impressed by the character 'Moo Jin'. It is a project to be anticipated with its speedy drama development and emotional moments."

The agency also revealed a few stills of the actor who is already preparing for his role by taking on various martial arts and horseback riding lessons.

The movie will start its filming in December.
