It is widely known that�YG Entertainment and KBS have had tensions in the past, but it appears that they may be putting their differences aside for it is rumored that�G-Dragon will be making an appearance on KBS's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'.

This will be the first time in 3 years that a YG artist will appear on KBS, ever since all YG artists were absent from the 2010 KBS 'Gayo Festival'. The upcoming appearance on a widely known KBS music program is speculated to be a promising step forward in patching up the relationship between YG and the broadcast station.

G-Dragon is said to be performing songs such as "Missing U", "Light It Up", and "Ultimately" for the recording of the show. However, it is not yet known whether the artists who featured in the songs will also be appearing on the show as well.



An insider stated, "G-Dragon's appearance on 'Sketchbook' is being negotiated in a positive light. We are planning on making the performance flashy and amazing, as it is G-Dragon's first appearance. With this appearance, the range of YG artists' appearances will also broaden."

YG has consistently favored SBS 'Inkigayo' for its artists and focuses on one strong, 'quality' performance per week rather than preparing for numerous performances on music programs.

While YG does not show any plans to change their "one-performance" pattern, they may help their artists branch out in various areas by having them appear on other types of programs on various stations. For example, G-Dragon selected MBC's 'Infinity Challenge' with his recent comeback. Despite the fact that he usually doesn't make many variety show appearances, he showed his love for the show by participating in a recent recording.

The attempt at settling differences between YG and KBS are said to have been partially brought on by the fact that both Psy and G-Dragon competed for 1st place on KBS's 'Music Bank' without appearing on the show, proving just how important it is for the two to keep a good relationship.
