The episode of 'Infinity Challenge' that had the princess of rhythmic gymnast, Son Yeon Jae, has seen explosive ratings. The show was in a controversy with the 'Super 7 Concert' and the departure of Gil from the cast, but the show did not waver at all.
According to the ratings given out on September 23rd KST by AGB Nielson Media, the September 22nd broadcast of MBC's 'Infinity Challenge' received a 14.6% viewer rating. This is .6% higher than what the show received the week before. The show was also the highest rated show in its time slot.
Recently, the 'Infinity Challenge' members were to appear in a 'Super 7 Concert', but it was cancelled causing much dissatisfaction from fans and to take responsibility, Leessang members Gil and Gary announced that they would step down from their respective shows. Because of all this, people were wondering what kind of impact this issue would have on the show.
This episode of 'Infinity Challenge' showed the 3rd part of their promise to viewers episode so they dressed like Son Yeon Jae and put on a rhythmic gymnastics show. During the episode, Son Yeon Jae made a personal appearance and good times ensued.
The shows in the same time slot as 'Infinity Challenge' had viewers ratings of 8.8% for KBS2's 'Immortal Song' and 8.2% for SBS's 'Star King'.
