On April 13th, Kim Young Hee, the producer for MBC's 'I Am a Singer 2', attended a press conference for the next season at MBC's Dream center in Ilsan.

On this day, he announced that currently there are 8 members who are officially cast for the show including Kim Yeon Woo, JK Kim Dong Wook, Park Wan Kyu, Lee Young Hyun, Lee Eun Mi, Park Sang Min, Lee Soo Young, and Jung In. �All of these artists are famous for their talented vocals and long time experience. �It was also reported that Lee Eun Mi was added to the show just a day before the press conference.

As of this moment, the show is still waiting for responses from artists Yoon Geon and Lee Juk who both received offers for a role on the show.

A total of 12 participants will be featured on the show. �As of now, eight of the twelve spots have been filled, leaving four open.

The show will be airing live and an opening show ceremony will be commenced on the 29th of this month while the first broadcast will be on May 6th.
