Last time, we reported that KBS's 'Love Rain' which stars actor Jang Geun Suk and Girls' Generation's YoonA scored a surprisingly low viewer rating of 5.8% on its first episode.  Unfortunately, the second episode received even lower ratings.

On March 28th, AGB Nielsen announced that TV ratings for Love Rain's second episode dropped to 5.2%, which is 0.6% lower than ratings for its first episode.

However, other competitors in the same time slot faired better. MBC's 'Light and Shadow' drew in the most ratings of 23.2%, while SBS's 'Fashion King' saw their ratings rise o.4% from its previous episode and scored 9.6%.

As mentioned before, the cause behind Love Rain's low ratings is perceived to be its slow paced story line, and the old fashioned plot that doesn't seem to be satisfying the demands of contemporary viewers despite the hype behind the drama.  However, it is expected to gain much success once it airs over in Japan as Jang Geun Suk's popularity seems to be higher there.
