Park Ji Yoon confirmed for 'Opera Star 2012'

Singer Park Ji Yoon will be greeting her fans through tvN's 'Opera Star 2012'. On January 3rd, Park Ji Yoon stated, "It's really impressive that these singers are attempting a completely different genre of music [opera]. I was so impressed with the way they developed each week. I always wanted to try opera, and I willingly accepted when I received the opportunity." Fans of the show are looking forward to her appearance, since she's known to have studied vocals in college. An insider from the program stated, "Park Jiyoon is famous for her unique vocal techniques. We are excited to hear her sing opera." 'Opera Star' is a survival program where singers attempt to sing opera songs. This season, the judging panel and the MC will be different from the first, and the program is currently in the casting process. Park Ji Yoon's fellow competitors and castmates will be revealed one by one, with the first episode scheduled to air on February 10th. Source & Image : Dispatch
