Not too long ago, Lee Hyori had a photoshoot with her dog Soonshim for a 2012 calendar promoting animal adoption. On December 15th, Animal Korea, an organization that fights for animal rights, tweeted news about the release of the Lee Hyori's collaboration calendar. "The 'Lee Hyori Calendar' is now on sale! 12,000 won (~$10 USD) and free shipping! The calendar is really beautiful! www.firstlook.co.kr is selling the calendar! Please spread the news!". The cover photo sees Lee Hyori posing cheek-to-cheek with her beloved pet, along with the words, "Don't buy, adopt". The rest of the black-and-white spread goes on to show the close relationship between Lee Hyori and Soonshim, demonstrating that pets don't have to be bought to be loveable.
