Two months after actress Han Chae Won ended her own life, the media is finally digging up the truth behind her unfortunate suicide.  On October 10th, MBC's 'Entertainment Plus' dedicated an episode to the circumstances surrounding her death. As reported earlier, she had left a message on her mini-homepage stating, "I want to stop suffering, I want to stop crying", before hanging herself in her apartment on August 25th. The police revealed that she had been suffering from depression due to the competitive entertainment industry, and had been receiving treatment for it. During her treatment process, people claiming to be managers for entertainment companies frauded her out of thousands of dollars several times.  One had even claimed that he would promote her on TV if she gave him $80,000 USD. Han Chae Won's desperation for the public to recognize her was also revealed through the fact that she had changed her name three times in hopes of earning luck with a new name. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough.  After telling her friend that "there is no one to trust in this world", she committed suicide.  Netizens have been flooding her mini-homepage to express their condolences.
