As many of you know by now, Apple's former Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs has passed away due to an unusual form of pancreatic cancer. Steve Jobs is the mastermind behind countless technological innovations like the iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac, and iTunes, and was often regarded as a genius comparable to Thomas Edison. Without question, Steve was a global figure well-respected by many. Top celebrities from a variety of fields in Korea have come out to pay their respects to the deceased CEO via Twitter. On October 6th, actress Hong Soo Hyeon tweeted, "Rest in Peace. I'm leaving this message through my iPhone." Singer/comedian Yoon Jong Shin expressed, "Steve left behind so many creative ideas for mankind... thank you so much" Kim Won Joon, who is gaining much popularity through "We Got Married", expressed his disbelief as he wrote, "I can't believe he died. It pains me so much. He was like a scientist, inventor, and a genuine innovator to me... He did so much for mankind. I'm so honored that I lived in the same era as him." Actor Kim Soo Ro also paid his respects, "Steve has gone to God in a better place. My life has benefited so much by living in your time. This is what it feels to let go of a great man... I will use my iPad2 with love..." Netizens left varying messages of regret and condolences on their pages, saying, "It's really a shame" and "Rest in Peace".
