Hallyu is reaching all sectors of the Japanese entertainment market.  Alongside the achievements made on the Oricon charts, Hallyu stars are also making their into the calendar market. With everyone busily preparing to start a new year, fans are scrambling to purchase calendars of their favorite artists. According to Japan's 'Narinari', AKB48 is currently topping the Japanese calendar rankings with 'AKB48 Official Calendar Box 2012 Cheer Up'. In second place is KARA with 'KARA 2012 Calendar', which is comprised of pictures during their stay in Paris, France.  Jang Geun Suk ranked in third and eighth with 'Jang Geun Suk 2012 Calendar' and with his SBS drama, 'You're Beautiful'.  He's the only star to have his name ranked twice in the top 10.
