Veteran singer Tae Jin Ah has set his sights on the idol market. The singer is currently head of the label Jin Ah Entertainment, which houses a number of talented singers in a wide array of genres like trot, rock, and R&B. On September 14th, it was revealed that he had set up a sub-label named YMC Entertainment about two months ago to better manage his artists. Currently in the label are Eru, Maya, Sung Jin Woo, Wheesung, Mighty Mouth, and Kyun Miri. Unfortunately, because Tae Jin Ah is so widely associated with the trot genre, the name of his label brought an adverse affect to the images of the singers under it. In order to better help his artists, he's given up a name he first established back in 1988. Wheesung's trainee Ailee will be the first YMC debut by the end of the year, and the label hopes to attract more talent like her in the future. A representative explained, "Not only will be housing artists in the R&B and rock genre, but also male and female idol groups. Just like Ailee, who has been receiving much attention for her vocal skills, YMC's idols will be different than any other idol group in that they'll each be highly talented."
