SECRET's�Ji Eun revealed on KBS's 'Immortal Song 2'�that her parents very much opposed to her becoming a singer. In the most recent recording, she sang "My Life is Mine", originally sung by Min Hae Kyung. Ji Eun shared that the story presented in the song's lyrics was similar to her own. She stated, "I started pursuing music in high school. My parents strongly objected my singing career so I had a lot of trouble. I heard this song and there were so many things I related to, so I decided to choose it." She added that she had really wanted to rebel against her parents during those days. Although the track�was a hit in 1990 that topped the charts for four consecutive weeks, it was ultimately banned due to its lyrics being about teenagers living their own life without listening to their parents.
