SNSD tops Oricon album chart + kicks off Japanese Arena tour

On June 1st, the ladies of SNSD released their first full-length Japanese album and after the first day, the album has topped the Oricon daily albums chart by selling 73,583 units. In addition, on May 31st, the girls kicked off the first leg of their Japanese arena concert tour in Osaka, where nearly 9,000 fans were in attendance. The girls will be touring six cities for a total of 10 concerts from May 31st through July 17th. The six cities include Tokyo, Osaka, Saitama, Hiroshima, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. An estimated attendance figure of 100,000 are expected for the 10 total concerts.
