(G)I-DLE is bringing the heat to Japan this summer as they’re set to take the stage at a major local festival.
The group has officially been announced as part of the ‘Summer Sonic 2025’ lineup, scheduled for August 16–17 in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.
'Summer Sonic' is one of Japan’s most iconic music festivals, held annually in both Tokyo and Osaka. Over the years, top Korean acts like Seo Taiji, BTS, and Seventeen have graced the 'Summer Sonic' stages.

This marks (G)I-DLE’s first-ever appearance at Summer Sonic. The group will perform on both days, connecting with fans live in both Tokyo and Osaka.
This year’s festival will also feature a star-studded lineup of global pop stars, including Alicia Keys, Camila Cabello, and Fall Out Boy, promising to raise the energy even higher.
(G)I-DLE has already been making waves in Japan recently. On March 29, they headlined ‘THE PERFORMANCE 2025’ at K-Arena Yokohama, delivering a top-tier live show.
They also made a surprise appearance on Japanese morning variety show TBS’s 'LOVE it!' on March 31, where they treated fans to a special live performance.
