As fans continue to decry Jay Park's omission from this week's Inkigayo 'Take 7' list, the music program has finally came forward with an official statement. The PD of "Inkigayo", Kwang Seung Young, stated on May 6th, "In the case of singers who are making a comeback, there are times when their casting is decided upon late. When the casting has been confirmed, we send the information to the technicians managing our homepage, but there are times when names are accidentally left out during the process." He continued, "There have been cases in the past when the names of other artists are put on the list late. Park Jaebum will definitely be up on the list for voting next week." "We are getting so many calls from fans to the point where we're unable to carry out our duties. Not only are we getting calls to our office, but people have been calling the staff's cell phones. We were extremely bewildered by this as this has never happened before." "In the case of singers making comebacks, the scores from votes are not reflected for that week anyway. It's not like the total score is collected on Saturday night; the addition of scores get completed even before then, so they are not reflected in the total score," concluded PD Kwang.
