Actress/MC Kim Jung Eun's program "Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate" has come to an end after three years of broadcasting and recorded its last episode on the 2nd. But right before she began the recording of her last episode, Kim sat down with Chui Jae Jin and held a brief interview regarding the end of her show. "I won't cry," she began. "The things that I'll remember the most are meeting the people and singers that I never would have had the chance of meeting anywhere else and watching the many never-before-seen performances. Where would I have had the chance to meet such seniors like Shim Soo Bong, Han Young Ae, or Im Jae Bum? I am extremely grateful to them for agreeing to come on my show." She concluded, "Now my heart feels free," and stepped onto the stage one last time. Her first guest was singer Lee Seung Hwan who, after singing "How Could Love Be That Way" and other hit songs, brought out a chocolate cake lit with candles for Kim Jung Eun. Even though she had previously stated that she wouldn't cry, Kim's eyes began to tear up as she was presented with the cake. She stated, "There is nobody as happy as me right now," and blew out the candles as the audience cried out, "We love you, Chocolate!" Next up was CNBLUE who presented Kim Jung Eun with a chocolate bouquet. After stating that this was their fourth time on the show, they all sat down and reminisced about their previous recordings. Guest number three was hip-hop group Leesang and they didn't come up empty handed neither. They gifted the MC with a bottle of wine and loosened up the atmosphere with "alcohol". Leesang member, Gil, revealed that he had quit drinking for the time being to which Kim cleverly shot back by asking him, "Shouldn't now be the time when you should be drinking the most?" Gil, who recently revealed that he and long-time girlfriend, Park Jung Ah, broke up, couldn't hide his surprise at the sudden question. But as the conversation went on, the mood lightened and member Gary expressed his wish, saying, "There could be another season of Chocolate," and expressed his disappointment. The last guest of the night was Baek Ji Young, who recently gained immense popularity and interest due to her OST "That Woman" for the hit drama "Secret Garden". With her was an album containing photos filled with memories of the past 3 years of Chocolate and letters written by the audience members. The two spent time looking through each photo and reading each letter that the audience members had written. Baek Ji Young stated that "It's like sending a friend off to study abroad or moving away to a different country" and was even more disappointed than Kim Jung Eun. Kim also stated that "Everything I wanted to do in my life I've done through this show." Lastly, Baek Ji Young read a letter that she had hand written for Kim Jung Eun which made her cry again. Barely able to speak due to her tears, Kim Jung Eun stated, "In a person's life, one receives many gifts, but I have never been so touched before in my life. There are no words I can say to express my gratitude. Truthfully, I didn't want to come to this recording today, I didn't want to say goodbye. However, there were guests coming so I didn't think it would be right of me to be upset, but in the end, you guys made me cry." And with those final words, she closed the show. "Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate" aired its first episode on 3-11-2008 and has had a strong 3 year run. The final episode will air on the 20th of this month. The replacement program is yet to be determined.
