During the conference, the variety star revealed his friendship with Shin Jung Hwan, who is currently overseas due to heavy heat in Korea from his gambling controversy. He expressed, "I have not talked to Shin Jung Hwan over the phone, but I am dying to just bring him back home. Crimes are bad, but aren't there sayings that one should save a life first? I miss Shin Jung Hwan." He continued, "I haven't been able to get in contact with him. I tried to call him on his phone, but his phone was turned off", he continued, "Since I was in America when Shin Jung Hwan's issue arose, it was not easy for me to get in touch with him."
