MBC's "Idol Star Athletics Championship" will be back for next year's Chuseok holiday, but will be changing its theme into "Idol Swimming Championships". MBC's representative revealed on the 28th, "We've decided to organize the 'Idol Special Championships' next year as well. It's something we've discussed ever since the program was still in its production stage. If viewers didn't show us so much support, we would've just considered it, but thankfully the response was substantial enough for us to decide to broadcast it every year. The show was competing against other dramas, but still managed to create a new viewer base with the teens." He went on to state, "We are preparing a special swimming championship for next year."
