Ditching the hot shorts for the long pants and leggings was pretty much the drastic change in SNSD's wardrobe for their new music video, Run Devil Run. Curious to know more about their white outfits in the music video? Here it is. Be it an inspiration or carbon copy, these outfits looked extremely like PHI's Spring Summer 2010 pieces that were presented in September 12, 2009 before the fashion house became a victim of recession and had to shut down. The distinct similarities are the vest and pants with lace features on the sides. Clearly you can see the similarities in the garments while the differences are the sleeves on SNSD. Besides the Run Devil Run music video, there were also similarities with their Oh! performance outfits. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvOFJh6q9xM Fashion followers would have spotted the similarities between their February 19 performance with American designer, Alexander Wang. The details around the waist and the zipper features were like Alexander Wang's Spring/Summer 2010 collection design which was present in September 2009. The denim SNSD wore were clearly different from Alexander Wang's. We all know that entertainment companies have the ability to drench their celebrities in garments that cost thousands of dollars. If I had the ability to sew clothes and re-create them without having to pay thousands of dollars, I'd do the same too. Of course, I would add my own ideas and inputs so the outfits won't look completely the same. Although their promotions for Run Devil Run are ripe, their White/Black Soshi concept is already a hot topic and has embraced by many. What are your thoughts on SNSD's new look?
