On January 24, YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun Suk made a surprise announcement through YG Entertainment's official YouTube Channel.

In this 2-minute long video released, Yang Hyun Suk made many announcements regarding the company's upcoming girl group BABYMONSTER as well as the future plans for BABYMONSTER. In particular, Hyun Suk noted that Ahyeon, who was previously missing from the group's previous pre debut single has recovered and has made her return to the company. She is said to be currently participating in the recording and the making of the girl group's upcoming mini album. 

In addition to that, Hyun Suk also disclosed that the agency is working to release BABYMONSTER's first full album by fall, following the release of their debut mini album. 

Last but not least, the group BABYMONSTER will be releasing another pre debut single entitled 'Stuck in the Middle' on February 1 KST. While Ahyeon was also not part of the production of this single, Hyun Suk has explained that both "Stuck in the Middle" and the group's previous pre debut single "Batter Up" will be re-recorded with all seven members included.
