HYBE Labels x Geffen Records audition program 'The Debut: Dream Academy' revealed the third mission on October 29 at midnight KST.
Previously, the 20 participants of the audition program, selected from over 120,000 auditionees, introduced themselves to viewers for the first time on September 1st. The participants represented a total of 12 nations including South Korea, the United States, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Switzerland, Sweden, Slovakia, Belarus, Thailand, Australia, and the Philippines. All 20 participants have received approximately a year of focused K-Pop training at HYBE America.
Following the series of global votes on Weverse and TikTok, 13 contestants are left to compete. Emily, Ezrela, Ua, and Samara covered "Wannabe" by Spice Girls as shown in the video above.
Celeste, Daniela, Manon, Nayoung, and Sophia covered "Buttons" by The Pussycat Dolls.
Lara, Megan, Marquise, and Yoonchae covered "Confident" by Demi Lovato.

The longer the show goes on, the more obvious it seems that the voting doesn't truly matter, just like in R U Next. I don't have too strong of feelings about any of the contestants at this point. I wish them all the best, but I'm not glued to the screen like I was with A2K and VCHA.
