NCT's Taeyong confirms his solo debut date

NCT's Taeyong announced his first solo album's release date. 

On May 15 at midnight KST, Taeyong excited fans with his announcement of his solo debut date. According to the teasers, Taeyong's first solo mini-album 'SHALALA' is set to drop on June 5 at 6 PM KST.

It seems that SM is more interested in pushing non-vocalists to a solo career instead of promoting groups' main vocalists. Should we expect SM groups' main dancers or visuals to transform into soloists ? At least Taeyong is a main rapper so he's much closer to a vocalist than a center
