DKZ's Kyoungyoon appeared on 'Immortal Songs' as scheduled, following the rumors of him being part of the infamous JMS cult.

On the March 11th episode of KBS2TV's 'Immortal Songs', DKZ made a guest appearance and performed YB's song. Kyungyoon, who was recently accused of being part of the infamous JMS cult, also appeared on the show with other members.

Previously, following the release of the Netflix documentary 'In the Name of God, A Holy Betrayal,' Kyoungyoon faced rumors that his parents were part of the cult and were running a cafe in relation to the religious organization.

On March 7th, Dongyo Entertainment confirmed that Kyoungyoon's parents were part of the church but had cut ties after discovering the truth. The label then shared that Kyoungyoon was not aware of the fact that his parents were part of the cult and also denied that the idol had anything to do with the organization.

But netizens continue to find alleged proof that Kyoungyoon was also part of the cult himself, and express disappointment in the idol member.

Good for him and good on the company for supporting him (for now at least). People are understandably angry, but they're so desperate to cancel someone in order to place blame that they're willing to follow these random clues that lead no where just to feel better. Unless an investigation was launched against him or he actively tried to recruit people, he's just as much a victim as others to an extent. It's almost like they want him to be a member of that cult, which is even more disgusting, to prove that they're right rather than finding the truth.

Im not even a fan of this group and I think this is so harsh.
As someone who grew up as a Jehovahs Witness, most people literally have no idea the level of brainwashing some people go through in different religious groups.
They left which is the most important and difficult part. Netizens are quite possibly attacking someone who was also victimized not cool.
