At the 2022 MBC Entertainment Awards held on December 29, GOT7's Youngjae received the "Rookie of The Year" award for radio shows. 

Since March, Youngjae has been hosting MBC FM4U's radio program "Close Friend" consistently everyday 8-10PM KST. 

In his acceptance speech, he thanks all his fans and everyone who made everything possible, "I have always wanted to do a radio show, so I am very happy to be getting an award doing something I love. This is also a position I normally stand at with all my GOT7 members, but standing here alone this time, I'm very nervous so please forgive me. It hasn't been over 300 days, but thank you so much to all my 'Soulmates' and 'Ahgase', it's thanks to you guys that I can receive this award." He also goes on to thank everyone who has given him a lot of help over his radio show journey.

Along with Youngjae, Park Young Jin was also named "Rookie of The Year" with "2 O'clock Live" and singer Lee Seok Hoon with "Brunch Cafe." Congratulations!
