Lim Chang Jung's wife Seo Ha Yan revealed her unique love story with her husband and singer, who is 18 years her senior.

On the March 28 KST broadcast of SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2', Lim Chang Jung and his wife joined as the new couple. During the interview section, Lim Chang Jung's wife Seo Ha Yan stated, "I'm also a person, so I searched Lim Chang Jung on the portal website after I came to know Lim Chang Jung. At that time, I found out he has three kids and what kind of situation he was in. I felt lost and hopeless, and I couldn't tell this to anyone. I thought a lot about whether it's right to continue to contact him or not. But [Lim Chang Jung] continued to contact me and our feelings for each other were deepening. He would praise his children so naturally without any hesitation and just a few months into our relationship, he introduced me to his children. So those kinds of things came across to me as surprising but calm."

Lim Chang Jung then added, "I invited her to my house. I told my kids 'Dad's girlfriend is coming, so be good'."  Seo Ha Yan then continued, "It would have been normal for the kids to act awkward and be cautious of me, but they were so bright and asked me questions so innocently. Unexpectedly, the kids were so gentle and kind, and I was thankful that they listened to me well. That memory is still so clear to me."
