Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon returned with her new single "Second," featuring R&B singer-songwriter BIBI.
The song is a summer dance-pop with a cheerful rhythm that contains a warm message. The song tells that it is okay to take a break once in the middle of hectic daily life.
Hyoyeon posted the #Secondchallenge with Girls' Generation members such as Taeyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Tiffany, YoonA, and Sunny on her Instagram. Seohyun didn't join the #Secondchallenge because of her busy schedule.
On August 25, Hyoyeon became a guest on MBC FM4U's "Kim Shin Young's Noon Hope Song," where she talked about how Girls' Generation support and participate in the dance challenge for her new song.
She was thankful for the support and asked all members to support her in the future even though they feel burdened to do that.
"I didn't mean to pressure all of you to do #Secondchallenge, but everyone was (burdened). Just like then and now, I'm thankful for your support. But, please continue feeling burdened," said Hyoyeon.
