Cube Entertainment co-founder and former chairman Hong Seung Sung revealed his label S2 Entertainment's new girl group name and logo.

On March 16, S2 Entertainment introduced their upcoming girl group as HOT ISSUE, which stands for "Honest outstanding terrific issue," and the name is meant to symbolize HOT ISSUE's aspirations for an "honest" and "outstanding" wave in the music industry. As for their logo, the letters "H" and "S" are intertwined by what looks like question marks.

S2 Entertainment stated, "HOT ISSUE are focused on their preparations with the goal of making their official debut in April. Please be on the lookout for HOT ISSUE, who'll lead the globalization of K-pop with their unique charms."
