Girl group Twice won the Daesang award in the category of The Best Selling Artist at 2019 M2 X Genie Music Awards ceremony.
On the evening of August 1, the 2019 MGMA (M2 X Genie Music Awards) was held at KSPO Dome, Olympic Park, Seoul and hosted by model Han Hye Jin.
Twice was presented with the Daesang award in the category of The Best Selling Artist by actress Song Ji Hyo. This is MGMA's second Daesang prize aimed at selecting the artist who has the highest number of high-ranking songs.
Member Dahyun expressed her thankfulness to all members of the management agency and said, "Thank you very much for giving us this precious award." She also mentioned Mina, ''I want to share the joy at this award with Mina."
Nayeon shared, "Thank you once. We are always Twice who never takes your great affection for granted. Although we are nothing, thanks to the fans, we have become special ones."
In addition, Nayeon shared her feelings subtly, "Thank you fans who have always been by our side and watched us whether we are happy or sad. We will try our best to show everyone our best image as a 9-member Twice. Wish you all good health."
