On May 23 at approximately 10 AM KST, actor Kang Ha Neul appeared in front of fans as well as the press immediately after his official discharge from his mandatory military service!

On this day, the star seemed quite surprised to see so many fans and press waiting for him at an early hour outside his army base in Daejeon, but greeted everyone with a big smile. He gave a brief statement about his experiences during his mandatory service, revealing that he was able to learn and grow as a person. 

When asked what he wants to eat or drink the most right after his discharge, Kang Ha Neul replied, "A very cold, refreshing can of beer." The actor was also unable to avoid the popular question of who his favorite girl groups were, and he answered, "I love everyone so much, but the groups I watched this morning were... Lovelyz and TWICE... and I haven't seen them much on TV lately, but Red Velvet too..." 

Meanwhile, Kang Ha Neul will be returning to the small-screen almost immediately after his discharge through KBS2's upcoming drama 'When The Red Camellias Bloom'. Welcome back, Kang Haneul!
