On the December 8th episode of 'Amazing Saturday', Joy and Wendy appeared on the program to guess the lyrics to Orange Caramel's "Bangkok City". During the show, the hosts asked Joy about her special friendship with Park Na Rae.
In one conversation, Joy said that Park Na Rae once offered to "show a whole new world to Red Velvet" at the 'Narae Bar'. Clarifying what that meant, the girl group member said that it was because she had once lamented to Park Na Rae about wanting to have some fun like an ordinary person.
"We, Red Velvet members, all debuted when we were really young. We have this regret how none of us were able to go out and have fun," shared Joy.
When MC Boom asked Joy what SM Entertainment would think about this, she said, "I think we have enough seniority now," to be able to do what they want. But, right after her words, SHINee's Key chimed in, "No, you guys still have a couple more years to go."
Although Red Velvet has never visited 'Narae Bar' as of yet, Joy says she truly is curious to experience what that "new world" is all about.
