Virtual idol group PLAVE has joined the efforts to aid in the wildfire recovery.
On March 26, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that PLAVE donated 50 million KRW (approximately 34,034 USD) to help restore areas affected by recent wildfires in North Gyeongsang, South Gyeongsang, and Ulsan.
According to their agency, PLAVE stated, "We decided to make this donation in hopes of providing even a small comfort to those affected by the wildfires. We also hope that this can be of help to the firefighters working tirelessly to contain the fires, and that those facing hardships due to this sudden disaster can soon return to their daily lives."
Hope Bridge Secretary-General Shin Hoon expressed gratitude, saying, "PLAVE’s donation is more than just an act of goodwill. It carries a meaningful social message. Hope Bridge will do its utmost to ensure that this heartfelt contribution helps affected residents recover their daily lives."
