Goo Hye Sun shared an update on her graduate school life through social media.
On March 12, Goo Hye Sun took to her Instagram account to share a glimpse of her life at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology), posting a photo with the caption, "I visited Professor Lee Hae Shin’s lab, the pride of KAIST."
She added, "I am deeply engaged in brainstorming an exciting project with Professor Lee Hae Shin. While the shampoo he developed is currently ranked No. 1, we are working on something special together! Please look forward to it with excitement!"
Along with her post, she shared a screenshot showing that Professor Lee’s shampoo had secured the No. 1 spot in Olive Young’s best-selling rankings.

Professor Lee, a distinguished professor in the Department of Chemistry at KAIST, and his research team contributed to the founding of Polyphenol Factory, a startup launched through faculty entrepreneurship. Their research on hair loss reduction has been published in a prestigious SCI-indexed scientific journal, adding credibility to their work.
Meanwhile, Goo Hye Sun first gained popularity as an internet Ulzzang (internet beauty) before making her entertainment industry debut in 2002 with the commercial for "Sambo Computer Slim PC."
She went on to star in dramas such as 'Nonstop 5,' The Ballad of Seodong,' 'The King and I,' 'Boys Over Flowers,' and 'Blood.' Currently, she is active in multiple fields as an actress, singer, film director, and painter.

Her academic achievements are equally impressive. In 2011, Goo Hye Sun enrolled in Sungkyunkwan University’s Department of Visual Arts and graduated as the valedictorian in February last year.
Recently, she made headlines after being accepted into the master's program in Science Journalism at KAIST. She is currently serving as the department’s vice president, balancing both her academic and artistic pursuits with remarkable dedication.
