The photos quickly sparked rumors that the singer had already tied the knot with his girlfriend last year in secret. However, Taecyeon's agency denied the rumors stating, "The marriage rumors are not true.” They further clarified, “He simply took a photo for his girlfriend’s birthday. Since she is a non-celebrity, we are also taken aback by the photo leak.”

Despite the denial, many fans and Korean netizens are congratulating the couple while also envying his girlfriend.
