Oh My Girl's Seunghee took a humorous yet bittersweet trip down memory lane with fellow member Mimi.
On Mimi's YouTube channel, Seunghee appeared as a guest to reflect on their years as Oh My Girl, sharing both the struggles and the hilarious moments they experienced since their debut.
Some of Seunghee's stories sparked strong reactions from netizens, particularly in criticism of their management company. Many were appalled by the strict and often unrealistic rules imposed on the members, including excessive weight control, being scolded for looking at other idols, making mistakes in their group greeting, and even being required to hold hands whenever they went anywhere together.
One of the harshest experiences Seunghee recalled was the group's weight management practices. She shared that while filming in front of a pizza, she decided to eat a slice, as she had not eaten all day. A staff member immediately yelled at her, saying, "Hey! Are you eating pizza right now?" in an informal and reprimanding tone.

After repeatedly being told to watch her weight, Seunghee started skipping meals, only to binge at night in secret at a convenience store. She also revealed that her current weight is 42kg, the lowest she has ever been.
Another shocking revelation was that a company staff member had bluntly told her that she had to stand next to YooA in the center at all times to make YooA stand out visually. The company deliberately placed Seunghee beside YooA for contrast, intending to draw more attention to YooA.
Seunghee and Mimi also recalled being frequently scolded over seemingly trivial matters. They were once reprimanded for making a mistake in their group greeting and were even told off for allegedly looking at another idol while waiting in line for the ending segment of a music program.

Mimi explained, "In order to go up on stage for the ending of a music program, you have no choice but to wait in line alongside other idols backstage. That’s when idols naturally see one another."
However, after being scolded for supposedly looking at someone—when in reality, she had simply been zoning out while staring ahead—they were forced to turn around and face the wall instead to avoid further reprimands.
Seunghee also shared some humorous but absurd company rules, such as the requirement that all members had to hold hands whenever they went somewhere together.
"I don’t know why they were trying to make us into children. I really hated that," she lamented.
One particularly amusing episode related to this happened during their "Cupid" debut promotions. Due to their youthful outfits, a male idol mistakenly assumed they were much younger trainees. When the group greeted him politely, he casually gave them a smirk (as if to say "Hello, babies," in the captions), as if they were his juniors.

Many netizens heavily criticized the company's treatment of the group. Some remarked that, unfortunately, this is "probably the reality for most companies, not just Oh My Girl," and that rookie girl groups today are "likely still facing similar restrictions and challenges."
