The most recent buzz in various online communities has been about Taecyeon's proposal photos.

On February 5, photos showing the 2PM member kneeling before his girlfriend with a Tiffany & Co. ring box in Paris quickly circulated online. The source for the photos was initially unknown but on February 6, the photo studio responsible for uploading the snapshots issued an apology.

The overseas photo studio wrote on its official social media account, "We have received numerous messages regarding the photos of Ok Taecyeon and his girlfriend. In truth, we did not know who they were when the photos were taken. We had no intention of exposing their relationship publicly."

The studio admitted they were unaware that Taecyeon was a celebrity in Korea and only uploaded the photos as they had always done before. They explained, "We have apologized to Ok Taecyeon and his girlfriend for this incident. We would also like to take this opportunity to issue a public apology. Once again, we would like to state that we had no intention of revealing the girlfriend's face. Once we learned about the incident, we took down the photos immediately, but they were already spread over the internet by then."

In light of the latest statement from the overseas photo studio, Korean netizens gathered in a popular online community to share their thoughts. Many Korean netizens finally realized how the photos were leaked and commented:

"I already thought the photos looked poorly taken, and now that I know it was a foreign company, everything makes sense."
"Oh, I get it now. No wonder the photos were uploaded. If it was a Korean company, they wouldn't have uploaded the photos like that."
"I thought the photos were leaked from their acquaintance's social media or something because the photos seemed so ordinary."
"Oh, so it was a foreign photographer... that clears up a lot of questions."
"I also figured it was a foreign company, so I thought they just uploaded it without knowing... LOL. If they had received a request for privacy, they probably wouldn’t have posted it."
"The fact that this was taken by a professional photographer is even more shocking."

"The photographer should've asked if they can post the photos or not."
"His girlfriend’s face was fully revealed... poor girl."
"A foreign company, huh... I can see how this happened."
"Do they normally upload photos without permission? LOL. Is that just how it is overseas?"
"The photos were not that great though."
"I thought a friend or an acquaintance took the pictures."
"I’ve heard that no country cares about portrait rights as much as Korea does."
"I didn’t even know their relationship was public. Whoa."
"I can’t believe that was taken by a professional photographer..."
"The photo quality is so bad for a professional photographer... Is it just different aesthetic standards overseas?"
