On February 1st, J.Y. Park Special (EP.6) took fans behind the scenes of KickFlip’s journey to debut under JYP Entertainment. 

In this episode, J.Y. Park shared the challenges and growth KickFlip experienced, from their early trainee days to finally stepping into the spotlight as JYP’s newest boy group. Their hard work and perseverance were highlighted, giving viewers a deeper understanding of their journey to debut.

A standout moment of the episode came when ITZY’s Yeji and Lia appeared in a special video message to congratulate KickFlip. As senior artists from JYP, Yeji and Lia not only offered their warm congratulations but also shared valuable advice with the young group. 

During a fun selfie session, KickFlip’s members pointed out Donghwa as the best at taking selfies, and Lia noted that ITZY’s Yeji was the best in their group. Yeji humorously shared her philosophy on selfies, saying, "Not being able to take a good selfie is disrespectful to the fans. How can you not take a good picture with this face?" Her playful confidence was met with laughter from the group.

Donghwa, praised for his selfie skills, carefully adjusted the lighting and angles, impressing Yeji and Lia. Lia remarked, "Pros pay attention to all the details," and Yeji, after seeing Donghwa’s photo, nodded in approval, calling it a great shot. Yeji also shared a humorous yet insightful piece of advice: "As an idol, you should be like a moth—always drawn to the light." Her words not only provided practical tips but also added a touch of humor to the moment.
