Netflix is bringing romance and technology together in 'Boyfriend on Demand' (Working Title), an exciting new rom-com starring Jisoo and Seo In Guk.

The Netflix series 'Boyfriend on Demand' is a romantic comedy that follows webtoon PD Seo Mirae (played by Jisoo), who, exhausted by her daily life, subscribes to a virtual dating simulation and experiences romance through an AI-generated boyfriend.
With a relatable workplace setting and the unique concept of "subscribing to a boyfriend in a virtual world," the series promises to bring a fresh and exciting take on modern romance.
Accustomed to a love-free life due to her busy and exhausting routine, Seo Mirae stumbles upon a 'Boyfriend on Demand' device, granting her access to a virtual world. Burned out from the demands of her career, she rediscovers her long-lost romantic instincts as she engages in relationships with impossibly perfect virtual partners.
Seo In Guk takes on the role of Park Kyung Nam, Seo Mirae’s colleague and rival webtoon PD. To Mirae, Kyung Nam is an irritating presence she would rather avoid, yet he is widely respected within the company as a top-tier professional. Cold and slightly self-centered, he carries a hidden secret that is bound to intrigue viewers. His unpredictable presence in Mirae’s life is set to spark a series of unexpected events.
The series is directed by Kim Jung Sik, known for his work on 'Work Later, Drink Now' and 'No Gain No Love,' both of which deliver sharp, relatable humor. With Kim Jung Sik’s signature blend of romance and comedy, combined with a stellar cast, 'Boyfriend on Demand' is set to bring a refreshing and unconventional romantic comedy to Netflix.
