BLACKPINK's Rosé set a new Billboard Global (Excluding U.S.) chart record with her mega-hit "APT." with Bruno Mars.
On February 11 (KST), Billboard reported in a preview article that Rosé's "APT." has claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for the February 15, 2025 ranking. With this achievement, "APT." has held the top position for 15 consecutive weeks, surpassing the previous record of 14 weeks, which was held by Mariah Carey's holiday classic "All I Want for Christmas Is You."
Additionally, "APT." dropped one spot to No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, where it had previously held the No. 1 position for 12 consecutive weeks. Meanwhile, on the Billboard Hot 100, the song continues its impressive run, charting for 16 consecutive weeks and currently ranking at No. 6.
Released as a pre-release single from Rosé’s first full-length album, 'ROSIE' on December 6, 2024, "APT." received an explosive response upon its debut. The song showed remarkable longevity, climbing back up the Billboard Hot 100 chart, eventually reaching a career-high at No. 2 on January 28, 2025. It also performed strongly on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100, maintaining its No. 2 position for five consecutive weeks.
Furthermore, Rosé's debut album 'ROSIE,' which includes "APT.," debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, setting a new record for the highest-charting K-pop female artist album in history.
