On the latest episode of musician Jung Jae Hyung’s YouTube talk show, national actress and beauty Song Hye Kyo reveals one of her life mottos in terms of how she treats people close to her.
Song Hye Kyo admits that there are times where she gets too sensitive that she complains or flares up to people close to her. While she tries to avoid such situations, she explains that there are times where the stress inevitably gets to her due to her perfectionistic tendencies on the job.
In such situations, Song Hye Kyo has a personal rule to apologize immediately. She explains that the closer someone is, the more careful she is with not taking them for granted. What one might think is a slight mistake could bring about immense hurt to others, so she makes sure she does not fall into the trap of expecting others to just understand her said tantrums and not take things personal. This proves to be a sensible method as many of her managers and personal staff have stayed with her throughout her long career spanning decades, in an industry where the manager-celebrity relationship is often volatile.
Song Hye Kyo elaborates that she is an ‘INFJ’ (MBTI personality type), and that if she does not apologize right away, she would be plagued with thoughts over the other’s feelings and the appropriate timing to approach the other to make an apology.
