The late Lee Hee Chul passed away suddenly on January 7, 2025 due to a heart attack. Poongja shared the tragic news on her social media, saying, "Even as I write this, I can’t believe it. For those who loved and knew him but haven’t heard the news, I’m sharing this here. Our beloved Seoul Salon’s Lee Hee Chul has become a star in the sky. Please pray for him to rest in peace." She also provided details about the funeral for those wishing to pay their respects.
