BLACKPINK’s Jisoo joins Warner Records, set for global solo expansion.
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is officially launching her solo career on the global stage.
On January 29th KST, Warner Records announced via its official social media channels, "We are thrilled to welcome Korean superstar and BLACKPINK member Jisoo to Warner Records."
According to reports from Billboard and other major U.S. media outlets, Jisoo has signed a contract with Warner Records for global solo promotions. With the label’s full support, she is expected to further establish herself as a solo artist.
Jisoo shared her excitement, stating, "I’m looking forward to this new musical journey ahead. I’m always grateful for BLINKs who support me." She added, "This is just the beginning. I’m excited to create incredible moments with Warner Records."
Warner Records, a major label under Warner Music Group (WMG), wields significant influence in the global music industry, including the U.S. market.
Meanwhile, Jisoo is set to make her solo comeback on February 14th with her new mini-album 'Amortage'. This follows her successful solo debut in March 2023 with 'ME', which featured the hit tracks 'Flower' and 'All Eyes On Me', solidifying her global popularity.
In December 2023, Jisoo renewed her contract with YG Entertainment for BLACKPINK’s group activities but chose to manage her solo career independently, founding her own label, BLISSO.
Beyond music, Jisoo is also expanding her acting career. She has confirmed roles in the upcoming 2025 film 'Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint', as well as 'Newtopia' and 'Monthly House Boyfriend' on Coupang Play, continuing her steady rise as an actress.
