tvN has unveiled its star-studded lineup of Korean dramas for 2025, raising viewers' expectations for the new year. 

'Lovely Runner,' 'Queen of Tears,' 'Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born,' 'Marry My Husband,' and 'Love Next Door' claimed the top five spots on the 2024 TV drama buzz rankings.

In particular, 'Queen of Tears' achieved a peak viewership rating of 31%, solidifying its position as the standout production of the year. Through this drama, tvN further strengthened its reputation as a leader in the drama industry. The production received high praise for its exceptional direction and compelling storytelling.

In addition, 'Lovely Runner' and 'Marry My Husband' captivated a wide audience by offering fresh perspectives on family and social relationships. 'Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born' continued to earn steady love for its realistic themes and relatable storytelling, while 'Love Next Door' resonated with younger viewers by capturing the struggles and passions of youth.

Looking ahead to 2025, tvN plans to deliver a diverse range of genres and themes, consistently offering high-quality content. Viewers’ anticipation for next year’s lineup is steadily growing.

First, 'Ask the Stars' is a space office drama set on a zero-gravity space station. Starring Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin, the drama explores interpersonal relationships and universal themes against the expansive backdrop of space.

'Seocho-dong' is a legal drama set in the world of law, portraying the daily lives and dilemmas of lawyers working at various law firms. Starring Lee Jong Suk, Moon Ga Young, and Kang Yoo Seok, the series is written by a former lawyer, adding authenticity to the storyline.

Set during the 1997 IMF financial crisis, 'Typhoon Trading Co.' follows the growth journey of a young CEO striving to protect a small business. Starring Lee Jun Ho and Geum Sae Rok, the drama highlights themes of historical realism and familial love.

'Divorce Insurance' is a bold office romantic comedy with an innovative premise, treating divorce as an insurance product. Featuring top stars Lee Dong Wook, Lee Da Hee, and Lee Kwang Soo, the drama has already drawn significant attention.

'Wonkyeong' reinterprets the life of the historical figure Queen Wongyeong, focusing on her complex relationship with King Taejong Yi Bang-won as both political partners and spouses. This marks the first historical drama for Cha Joo Young and Lee Hyun Wook.

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated spin-off of 'Hospital Playlist,' titled 'Someday, Wise Resident Life,' has been indefinitely postponed due to the aftermath of a medical resident strike. Production cost issues and real-world circumstances have created uncertainty around its broadcast schedule, drawing significant public attention.
