OneHundred, home to artists such as Lee Seung Gi, EXO's Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, as well as The Boyz, has announced its strong stance against the spread of false information and defamation targeting its artists.
On December 14, One Hundred released an official statement expressing gratitude to fans for their support, while addressing the issue of malicious activities targeting their artists.
The company stated, “We have been filing complaints against malicious commenters and, through cooperation with specialized agencies, have tracked IP addresses and collected evidence. Following police investigations, the suspects have recently been forwarded to the prosecution.”
One Hundred emphasized its commitment to protecting its artists, stating, “We take all acts of defamation, including malicious slander, the spread of false information, and personal attacks, very seriously. We will continue to monitor related posts and comments and take legal action accordingly.”
The statement further warned that strict measures would apply not only to individual malicious commenters but also to illegal viral marketing agencies, organizations, and associations involved in defaming the company’s artists. “To promote the growth of the K-pop industry and the entertainment sector, we will continue to take stern measures without any settlements or leniency toward those involved in malicious activities.”
One Hundred also reaffirmed its dedication to ensuring the well-being of its artists, stating, “We will prioritize the protection of our artists to support their healthy activities and provide full backing to meet the love and expectations of all our fans.”
